Fruit Plants from Botanicly
Grow your own citrus fruit at home. The Calamondin is a cross between a mandarin orange and a Chinese kumquat. The tree can grow very tall on the plantations in the Philippines. But in your home it never grows bigger than a pot plant. The plant is an evergreen. The white flowers produce fruit that you can eat.
In the winter you should keep the plant inside, but you can put it outside in the summer (from mid-May onward). Then water it regularly and make sure it doesn’t dry out. In the growing season, the plant needs water-soluble nourishment, while it only needs half of that amount in the winter. Feed it once every five weeks. You can prune dead or damaged branches whenever you wish.
