Climbing plants from Botanicly
A very special clematis, which blooms with its large purple umbels throughout the summer from the end of April to September. Already in the first year you can enjoy a flower oasis. Unlike most Clematis species, which only flower for 1 month, you can enjoy the “Samaritan Jo” for up to 6 months.
The “Samaritan Jo” can reach a maximum height of 180 cm against a pergola or climbing wall. The compact clematis prefers a partially shaded to sunny pitch. The best result is achieved with a location in the morning sun and / or in the evening sun. It can also be used in a pot on a balcony or terrace or even in a hanging basket. It takes a little help to get Clematis to climb better. It is best to guide the plant upwards along a frame, wire or stick. Pruning is not required. However, remove the dead and damaged branches in early March. You can cut these clematis back to a maximum of 20 centimeters above the ground in the spring.
