This beautiful evergreen Mahonia ‘Soft Caress’ is the first Mahonia without spines! The exotic cut leaves feel soft to the touch. Flowers from August to October with yellow clusters of flowers, then beautiful blueberries appear on the plant. Because of its compact growth, the ‘Soft Caress’ is suitable as a hedge or as a potted plant for the terrace.
Care recommendation
The plant can tolerate about 12 degrees frost, if necessary it should be protected. The height after 10 years is 100 cm. Loves a sandy, humus-rich soil, so if not available, put some garden lawn in soil. The plant tolerates sun and shade.
